I can barely see the the front one. The factory sights are the 1911A1 low sights and I find them fairly difficult to acquire, particularly after becoming accustomed to the high 3-dot sights of my CZ-75B. My MilSpec Springfield is GI cut as well. There are not a ton of options but I have Trijicon night sights in mine. The rear sits up higher and has nice crisp green dots and the front will have to be staked, as long as someone that know what they are doing stakes the sight, you should be fine.
